The American Bicentennial Soccer Cup 1976 Program

 Date: May 23-May 31, 1976

The United States soccer community  celebrated the 200th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence signing with the 1976 American Bicentennial Soccer Cup. It also served to help promote the North American Soccer League.

Brazil, Italy, and England participated along with Team America (not to be confused with Team America of 1983). Team America consisted of international stars, such as Pelé, Giorgio Chinaglia, George Best, and Bobby Moore, and a mix of American players.

Team America failed to win any games, while Brazil won the tournament with three wins.
